Chatswood Newborn Baby Portraits: Michael & Family

It feels like only yesterday when we were asked to shoot some romantic engagement portraits for Lisa & David. After returning from their wedding in the United States, they soon added another adorable member to their family! I’m not exaggerating when I say that I think we both fell instantly in love with their precious newborn, just nine days old when we did this shoot. Ladies and gentlemen, allow us to introduce their 3.71 kg bundle of newborn joy, Michael:

Amazingly, little Michael was awake for most of the session! Clearly he was too excited about his first photo shoot to sleep. Gaahhh, isn’t he precious!?

Lisa and David had set up the cutest little elephant-themed nursery for baby Michael.

This is definitely one of my favourites. He just looks sooo tiny and delicate!

Eventually though, we got the little bugger to nod off for a bit, on a special blanket hand-knitted just for him by a family member.

I love this! I call this his “Dr. Evil” face. Yes, he’s using his index finger instead of his pinky finger, but close enough. ;) “You must give me… one… miillllllion dollars!”
