No trip to Hawaii would be complete without having a Luau. After a long day out at sea, a big feast was exactly what we needed. We drove to the west coast of Maui to attend the Feast at Lele (the town now known as Lahaina).
After getting lei’d, we were shown to our table. Somehow, we managed to score front row seats right in the center:
We enjoyed another gorgeous Hawaiian sunset while sipping an endless supply of Mai Tais and other tropical cocktails (all included).
Then, the food arrived and the entertainment began. Instead of the traditional Hawaiian Luau, this feast was broken up into stages with food (three dishes each) and entertainment from four different Polynesian cultures: Hawaii, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Tahiti, and Samoa.
It was an excellent feast indeed! Our bellies were stuffed to the brim. Go on and check out all the photos from the luau.
