We weren’t finished taking photos with Joe and Esther after the bridal party portraits in Part 1 of their beachside wedding. Once the last golden rays of sunlight disappeared from the beach, we walked with our bride and groom up to the North Curl Curl Surf Reserve. Not more than 2 minutes up the path was this stunning view, which resulted in my favourite panorama from the day! Don’t miss the bigger view by clicking below:
Esther and Joe were looking so lovely together. So romantic!
Love this one! Esther, you made such a beautiful bride!
What a perfect pastel sunset for their relaxed beachy wedding.
While we were snapping away, the guests were enjoying cocktail hour inside the North Curl Curl Life Saving Club. We had snuck in earlier in the day to grab some photos of their lovely reception setup!
These beautiful glass jars were provided by Ian and Sam, the wonderful married couple behind Just Jars Australia. The jars were wrapped with twine and filled with an assortment of rustic flowers. They looked fabulous!
Esther and Joe had so many loving friends and family help out with their personal wedding decorations.
How yummy looking is this cake? Esther’s friend baked it for her and provided an individually wrapped cupcake for each guest to take home. We were lucky enough to take one home too, and I scarfed mine down the minute we got home from the wedding. It was sooo delicious!
After enjoying the beautiful sunset, the happy couple entered to much applause! They were immediately overwhelmed by congratulations from all their guests.
The food was provided by Icon Catering, who cooked up a wood fire spit roast dinner for everyone. Yum!
This little flower girl was so incredibly cute, blissfully off in her own little world dancing and twirling about.
Esther and Joe also had a photo booth on hand which kept the guests really entertained. The props were a huge hit!
Esther’s father started off the speeches with some beautiful heartfelt words.
Joe and his brothers also had the guests giggling as they told stories and reminisced about their lives growing up together.
After the warm toasts, it was time to cut that cake! Did I mention that it was delicious?
I think it’s pretty clear that Esther and Joe thought it was delicious… ;)
Everyone smiled as they watched Esther and Joe dance their first dance together as husband and wife.
Then the dance floor was flooded with all ages!
These two were absolutely tearing up the dancefloor with their expert dance moves. We were so impressed, we couldn’t help snapping away!
On top of that yummy wedding cake, Esther and Joe’s guests were treated to heaps more deliciousness!
Esther’s father surprised everyone, including the bride and groom, with a touching trip down memory lane with a homemade slideshow.
The dance floor trembled all night with guests’ happy feet!
As we were leaving, we couldn’t help going out onto the sand to capture this beautiful nighttime scene, with the glowing city lights from Manly Beach in the distance and the stars twinkling in the clear skies overhead. What a perfect night it was!
