We only request on our special day that you honor us with your presence. We already have many items to start our new lives together and it would be hard to take more with us to our far-away home. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is a wonderful gift in itself. However, should you wish to honor us with more, we have listed some options on this page to help you choose something we'll be sure to love.

Although we are quite settled in our home, there are some things we would still appreciate. We have found a local store that will gift-wrap and deliver items that you can purchase online to our home in Sydney, Australia. Lì Xì (紅包)

Known as Lai See in Cantonese or Hóng Bao in Mandarin, Lì Xì is the Vietnamese term for the East Asian tradition of giving monetary gifts in the form of red envelopes. The red symbolizes good luck, not only for the bride and groom who will be starting a new life together, but also for the gift givers, especially if they are already wed. You may see this custom in practice on our special day and you are certainly welcome to participate; however, you should feel no obligation to do so.
